A Bit About Chelsea
A Passion for Families
Hello! I'm so glad you have found my page and are taking some time to learn about me. I have always had a passion for supporting families. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies in 2012, I worked as an Infant and Family Specialist. I've always had a desire to broaden my horizons, so I decided to take a break from my career to live in Germany for a year, but even then I didn’t abandon my passion for families. I worked as a live-in nanny for two little boys. Another overseas adventure followed shortly after my return to the United States when my husband received orders to serve in the United Kingdom. Though I have always had an interest in birth work, it was here that my passion was ignited when I gave birth to my son in 2017. Through my experience, I saw a specific need for support in the military community and had a desire to fill that gap. I am now a certified birth and postpartum doula.
My hobbies include travel, reading (when I find the time!) and spending time with my family. I am constantly looking to grow and learn, always searching for the next steps I can take to educate myself and be the best that I can be.
